Today, we are pleased to announce the release of AI-Starter 2.4.1! This version update includes various improvements, such as adding new features and enhancing usability, in response to user requests.

The main updates are as follows:

  • Changed the document link in the user menu to the new documentation site.
  • Added a text file input feature.
  • Fixed an issue where the delete button for attachments was difficult to see.
  • Added three user templates related to support.
  • Made other bug fixes and performance improvements.

We have changed the document link accessible from the user menu in the top right corner of the screen to the new documentation site, which also includes these release notes.

Text File Input Feature​

AI-Starter 2.4.1 introduces a feature that allows users to provide text files as input to the assistant. This enables the assistant to analyze content, provide summaries, and analytical results for long texts such as meeting minutes or academic papers, simply by uploading the file.

You can try attaching text files using either of the following methods:

  • Drag and drop the file into the text input field
  • Copy and paste the file into the text input field

Currently, this feature is supported by the following assistants:

  • Claude 3.5 Sonnet
  • Claude 3 haiku
  • Claude 3 Sonnet
  • Claude 3 Opus
  • GPT-4o

  • Only UTF-8 character encoding is supported
  • The size limit for each file is 10MB (provisional)
  • Even if the file size limit is not reached, uploading a file that exceeds the assistant's maximum token count will result in an error
  • Supported file formats: .txt .csv .html .md etc.

Improved Visibility of Delete Button for Attachments​

We received feedback that the delete button in the top right corner of attachments was difficult to see, so we improved the design. This makes it easier to delete attachments more smoothly.

Addition of Support-related User Templates​

To facilitate smoother communication with the support desk, we have added three new user templates:

  • お問い合わせを分析してもらう
  • サポート回答文を生成してもらう
  • サポート回答文を校正してもらう
