We are pleased to announce the release of AI-Starter version 3.0.3.

1. Google AI Model Updates​

We have improved our Google AI service support, updating Gemini models and adapting to Imagen 4 model name changes.

  • Added latest preview model aliases

    • Gemini Flash-Lite Latest
  • Support for inference mode in Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite
  • Updated Google Imagen 4 assistant model names
    • imagen-4.0-generate-preview-05-20 → imagen-4.0-generate-001
    • imagen-4.0-ultra-generate-preview-05-20 → imagen-4.0-ultra-generate-001

If you are using existing models that have changed, we recommend resetting and re-enabling them using the assistant management features described below. For a complete list of supported models, please refer to:

2. Bedrock Model Updates​

Claude Sonnet 4.5 is now available on Amazon Bedrock, and AI-Starter now supports it. Claude Sonnet 4.5 supports cross-region inference in Japanese regions (Tokyo, Osaka), and our official assistants now use the Japanese region model (jp.anthropic.claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929-v1:0).

Previously, only US cross-region inference was supported, but we now also support Global and Asia cross-region inference. To use these features, you need to enable the model in your target region and specify the appropriate model. For details on support status, please refer to:

3. Admin Console Improvements (Assistant Management)​

We have enhanced the assistant management functionality to improve operational convenience.

  • Enable, duplicate, and reset (delete) assistants directly from the assistant list screen
  • Filter assistants based on their configuration settings
  • Select prompt IDs from a dropdown menu in the assistant edit screen
