Clicking the share button will open the sharing dialog. By default, the sharing link is disabled.

Sharing Dialog Off

When the sharing link is enabled, a shareable link will be generated.

Sharing Dialog On

Accessing the sharing link will display a dedicated shared chat page. This page is only viewable by logged-in users and cannot be edited by others. If the sharing link is disabled, the shared chat page will be deleted. If a user attempts to access a non-existent shared chat page, they will be redirected to a new chat page.

Branching Function

The branching function allows you to create a new chat from any message in a conversation. You can try different questions or directions while preserving past exchanges.

How to Create a Branch

  1. Hover over the assistant message you want to branch from.
  2. Select the "Branch from here" button from the action buttons that appear.
  3. A new chat will be created with the conversation history up to the selected message copied over.

Features of the Branching Function

  • Automatic File Copy: Files attached to the original conversation are automatically copied to the new chat.
  • Conversation History Preservation: The conversation content up to the branching point is carried over to the new chat.
  • Independent Conversations: After branching, the new chat is independent from the original conversation, and each can proceed separately.

This feature makes it easy to explore "what if I had asked a different question?" scenarios.
