AI-Starter 2.4.9 New Features Preview

This is a preview of the new features in the upcoming version 2.4.9 of AI-Starter. The following new features will be added to the history function. Since there will also be changes to the UI, please inform users in advance as necessary.

  • Title editing function
  • Deletion function
  • Sharing function
  • Collapsing the entire history

The release of version 2.4.9 is scheduled for November 2024.

Title Editing Function​

Clicking the ellipsis on a history item will display the history item menu.

Selecting "Edit Title" from the history item menu will display the title editing dialog. Enter the title in the text box within the dialog and press the "Save" button to update the title.

Deletion Function​

Selecting "Delete" from the history item menu will display the deletion dialog. Pressing the "Delete" button within the dialog will delete the history item.

Sharing Function​

The sharing function allows you to share chat history within your organization. A share button will be added to the top right of the ongoing chat.

  • When not shared, "Share" is displayed.
  • When shared, "Shared" is displayed.

Clicking the share button will display the sharing dialog. By default, the sharing link is disabled.

When the sharing link is enabled, a sharing link will be generated.

Accessing the sharing link will display a dedicated shared chat page. This page can only be viewed by logged-in users, and other users cannot edit it. If the sharing link is disabled, the shared chat page will be deleted. If you access a non-existent shared chat page, you will be redirected to a new chat page.

Collapsing the Entire History​

Previously, the most recent 5 history items were displayed, and clicking the "Show More" button would display the remaining history. Based on user feedback requesting the ability to hide the history, we plan to change the design to allow collapsing the entire history.

Infrastructure Update​

Due to the expansion of the history function, an infrastructure update will be necessary. Since there will be no impact on users, we do not plan to provide prior notice outside of this blog.
